My Crazy, Insane, Asinine Idea

Whatever, something like that.

My idea is for there to be one week full of wonderful posts on all my stories. I'll kick it off with something big and end it with something bigger!

Here's what I got so far:
1.Glee Prompts chapter every day for seven days: that should be easy enough.
2. A PJO+FV update every other day, or most likely every third day.
3. The finish of PJO+FV somewhere in here. But this is highly subject to change.
4. And to end with, on the last day I'll post my new Glee story.

And I also added on the bottom of my little note "Earned with reviews". I'm not entirely sure on the specifics of this when I jotted this down, but I guess I was thinking Mega-Update week would come with some amount of reviews.

But I'm not going to do this. I hate it when authors say "50 reviews and I'll post the next chapter. Blah blah blah, give me more reviews or I won't post"

Come one, guys, write because you want to, not because you want some basically anonymous person giving their opinion on it. It shouldn't matter what other people think and all, right? Just write what you want! Love, peace, respect! their signs read!

Phew, it's 2:05 AM and I'm coming down from my energy high.

In summary, I want to do something like this. Soon, even. I was thinking February, or maybe even gasp! JANUARY!
Hmm, wouldn't that be funny to end PJO+FV on the day that I started it, one year later.
Ughhh one year. It certainly does not seem like that long ago.

New Story Alert!

Okay, even as I'm writing this I'm doubting my decisions. I don't want to get ahead of myself and I don't want to get into something if I'm not fully committed. But, I know that probably no one checks this blog regularly, so I think it's safe to say not many people are going to see this post.
That makes me feel a little better.

So here it is: I'm in the process of writing a new Glee story. I don't know if it'll have long chapters like PJO+FV, or little chapters on a regular basis. I just have little plot bunnies and really great ideas and characterization and developments and I want to write this fantastic story that I can see so clearly in my head.

It's nowhere near having a fully constructed first chapter...well, sort of. I've written little pieces so far, which I'll need to bring together and sort out. But my goal is to have 3 or 4 chapters ready before I post the story so you guys won't be waiting forever and day for an update.

But there's so many buts.
I tried having two major length stories going on before, the Hunger Games SYOT and PJO+FV, and that obviously didn't work out. If I come to a similar situation if I write this Glee story, I won't delete either of the stories, don't worry.
But if I'm doing both at the same time, I think it's going to get hectic and I won't get far with either.

So maybe what I should do is wait until PJO+FV is finished to post this Glee story. I think that's best, because I could be writing for this one in my down time or when I get writer's block.

And, call me crazy, but I have this insanse idea for posting and finishing and updating stories. I'll talk about it in my next post. Ciao, lovelies! <333

My Mind = Blown

I seriously didn't think I would even get finished with PJO Ch. 10 until a week, more. But once I got the results for the med. district, I just started writing and got the chapter done in a few hours. Just posted it, so go check it out everyone! Medicine District Has Been Chosen!

District 5 has won to be the medicine district for Percy Jackson and the Future Victor!!!!

It won at 9 votes, District 9 a close second at 8, District 7 at 1, and District 8 at 2.

I have already begun writing chapter 10, so when it is finished it'll be posted. That will be probably more than a week, I'm sorry, but Christmas time is buuusy.

Book Recommendation

Looking for a good new book to read? Want to know one I'd suggest? Here's my Book Recommendation for this week.

Suite Scarlett, by Maureen Johnson.

First off, if you've ever read a book by Maureen Johnson, you know anything else written by her would have to be amazing. She's one of my top ten favorite writers of all time, so I knew I needed to suggest one of her books.

This story is centered around newly-turned fifteen-year-old Scarlett Martin, who lives in New York City in her family's own hotel, the Hopewell. It's a shabby shell of a former glamorous Art Deco-style haven, that gets the occasional guest now and then. Because of this, money's tight in the Martin family, but nonetheless, when each kid of the clan turns fifteen, they're expected to take over one of the suites in the hotel.
Scarlett doesn't expect much when she gets the Empire Suite, until a permanent guest and former "star" named Ms. Amberson moves in. Soon, Scarlett is taking to her every whim and running around the Big Apple trying to please her guest. But she'll also have to deal with figuring out her love life, helping her adorkable older bro' out, dealing with the complications of her older sister's life, and staying out of the way of the youngster of the family's prying ways.

I'm a total sucker for romances; everything I read has to have some type of love, the gushier the better. So let me say that this book was not lacking, but it wasn't over-the-top either. But it had funny parts (especially with Ms. Amberson in there), sympathetic parts, drama, love, and overall perfection. Maureen Johnson is such a skilled writer and entertainer; her books are by far the best ones out there (not to mention her creativity!)

Go find this book now, you will not be disappointed! I'm sure you'll love it as much as I did <3.

60th Hunger Games

I unfortunately had to delete my story "The 60th Hunger Games" this past week. I'm very, very sorry to everyone who submitted a tribute and/or was the reading the story. I really didn't want to have to get rid of it, but if I wanted to continue my other stories, this had to be done.
The reasons for this are that I'm just too busy. Between getting homework done, doing my household chores, practicing piano, studying, and having a social life, I don't have a lot of time for writing, much less writing three stories. I mean, it took me more than a week to even get this posted. So out of all three, I decided to delete the one that I didn't have enough time for and enjoyed writing the least, which was the 60th Hunger Games.
Also, I had gotten some comments and messages regarding the story that made me think about it. One was from an author who had submitted a tribute, asking when I was going to update next because she was really enjoying the story. I didn't want to keep her and everyone else waiting for such a long time for an update, which would then probably be a crappy update because I rushed through it and didn't put much effort into it. Another comment I got was anonymous, kind of bashing my story I guess. That gave me just a negative feel to the story, and I didn't feel comfortable continuing it then.
Another reason is that for me it's hard writing two different Hunger Games stories. Coming up with scenarios and situations for PJ+FV and 60th HG was tough, and I feel that if I tried neither story would be creative or entertaining.
I have kept all the information on this story. I have the chapters that were posted and all the characters profiles, so if in the future I can continue it, I may. When I'm finished with PJ+FV I may be able to, or who knows, maybe I'll do something else with it along the way. I'm also willing to let someone else adopt the story if they wish (if you want to, please contact me! PM on fanfiction, e-mail, review), so please don't let your hopes down, because this isn't the last you've seen of this story!
Once again, I'm deeply sorry for having to do this. I apologize to everyone who read it and submitted a tribute. You guys were very nice and supportive of me, and you helped me become a better writer. But there are thousands of other SYOT stories out there, trust me, and you can submit your character to one of those also: I'm sure they'd be accepted, they were all amazing!

Glee Prompt

Apparently the season premiere of Glee is on September 19: I can hardly wait!!
The release date for the next Glee Prompt is the day of the season premiere, so possibly September 19 if my info is correct. I want to publish the prompt like, a second before the episode starts; once you read it you'll understand why ;). So for anyone who's still following that story (I doubt there are any of you left...) just a few more weeks!

Halloween Costume

I went into a store the other day and saw a bunch of Halloween stuff on sale- where's my summer gone?
Anyways, I took it as a sign that I should start thinking about my Halloween costume. Something I thought would be funny would be to dress up as the girl from the Sun Drop commercials.

I'm currently watching Cloverfield right now while I'm home alone- yeah, probably won't be a productive night. And I'll probably won't be able to fall asleep later, even though I've see this movie thousands of times and it's not that scary anymore. But still...it gives me the chills.
Anyone else ever see it? Thoughts?

Away for the Weekend!

I'll be going on a quick vacation this weekend- spending time with my family up north. It's four hours each way, which is perfect time for writing. I'm actually very excited to say that I started a Glee prompt, and I am super close to finishing it. I want to get it out before school starts to be extra special. (hint hint, wink wink)
School starts this Monday (right after I get home!) and I could possibly have the next chapter of PJO+FV the following week- keep your fingers crossed!

I Would Update...

I would update Percy Jackson and the Future Victor, but there's this family safety thing installed on my computer that's blocking most of the sites, including the chapter edit page. Story Update

Hey guys, just a general update to let you know how where I'm at in my stories.

Chapter 6 in Percy Jackson and the Future Victor is coming along; I probably won't post it by Friday, but there's a good chance I'll get it out next week.

I'm going to post the list of tributes I have so far in the 60th Hunger Games when I get some more tributes submitted. It's alright to enter more than one, especially if they're bloodbaths.

I'm sorry to say I have the biggest case of writer's block for Glee Prompts. I usually begin to write a chapter once in awhile, but then about halfway through I delete it, cause it's just a big mess. But luckily next week's episode seems really interesting, with that whole Quinn/Rachel bathroom scene. So hopefully something inspiring will happen, and I can successfully write a new chapter.
